Looking for parenting advice? The Library collection has numerous resources to assist you.

Also, with literally hundreds of parenting websites available on the Internet it can be hard to decipher where to find the best information. To make it easier for you, we have put together a list of some of the most useful sites.

Don't forget to encourage your older kids to check out our Homework Help and More! section which includes Reading for Australia (an online book club for 10-13 year olds), Enclopaedia Britannica and Inside a Dog (book reviews and more aimed at teenagers.)

The WA Parenting Centre

This Mt Lawley based centre provides a free online library service to all parents in WA.

One or two items can be borrowed for a period of 2 weeks with the items posted to you free of charge and a pre-paid envelope supplied to return them.

Family Relationships Online 

Provides families with access to information about family relationship issues - from building better relationships to dispute resolution.

Raising Children 

A complete Australian resource for parenting newborns to teens.

The Little Big Book Club

A not-for-profit organisation whose primary goal is, "To promote the love of reading and importance of reading to children from infancy/birth and actively encourage parents in providing their children with a strong foundation for lifelong literacy, success in formal schooling and improved life chances."

 The Activ Foundation
The Activ Library is the major Library for the disability sector in Western Australia. It is open to parents, families, carers and people with a disability... everyone is welcome! The collection's material has a strong focus on intellectual disability and autism along with resources on other disabilities, developmental delay and learning difficulties.
